Speak of the devil and he appears! When I last posted that stable tor has been sitting at 0.2.0.34 since February, I had no idea 0.2.0.35 was right around the corner! The announcement came on or-talk@freehaven.net just the next day. It was a minor effort to edit the build script and incorporate the lastest stable version in the next release of tor-ramdisk. The other main reason for the update was to make the system more "embedded" by removing the shells on the ttys and taking out applets from busybox (like ls) which are not needed by the setup script --- speaking of which, I should consider renaming it the "menu" script and doing better indentation so its easier to see the grouping of the commands. Next release! But for now I'm porting all this over to the MIPS which should come out on Monday.
Other than that, this is pretty much a maintenance release with updates to busybox and the kernel. Node "simba" has been running it for a few days now in the wild.
